Promoting Online Booking to Clients

You’ve launched your new online booking platform, and you know how great it is, but how do you get your clients to actually start using it? The two main challenges we face in getting clients to try any new product or service are motivating our clients to think about change and reminding them to act on it. With all the research showing clients are jumping at the chance to book services online, the motivation aspect of promoting your new service is the easy part. To help launch your online booking with a bang, there are a few things you can do to help spread the word about your new service and remind clients to try it out.
Talk about it
If your clients are used to phoning for their appointments, let them know that this great and convenient service is now available. To help your team feel comfortable talking clients through the process, a short demonstration can go a long way.
On your door, business cards & pricelists. Keep your hot new feature top of mind by featuring ‘online booking now available’ signage in front of your clients at every opportunity.
Add a footer message to your receipt to let clients know that ‘online booking now available’.
Record a message on your answering machine letting your clients know that ‘online booking is now available at www…”. This could very well mean the difference between customers staying loyal or going to a competitor when they can’t get through to you on the phone.
Put the online booking link on every page of your website. Statistically, the upper-right hand area is the most noticed part of a webpage.
Once your clients have experienced the convenience of online booking, the service will sell itself. The key to launching it successfully is spreading the word fast and covering all your bases.
