Each year, the International Chain Salon Association (ICSA) comes together and discuss business methods, industry topics, and of course learn from industry leaders that come to pass on tricks and tips on how to run a more successful multi-site operation. Each year the conference is held at a luxurious location where it is just as relaxing and rejuvenating as it is exciting and inspiring.

The conference lasts for three days with a series of forums, networking sessions, and breakouts along with opportunities to meet with exhibitors and sponsors of the conference.

As tradition holds, Shortcuts held an evening event on the 8th where the attendees gathered for appetizers, drinks, gambling and a Texas Hold’em Tournament. The theme of the night was Get Your Business Motor Running in celebration of the release of the new Shortcuts Dashboard and Intellimax advanced reporting products. The Shortcuts executive team got on stage and presented the new releases before waving the flag to start the games.

"We chose ICSA as the perfect time and place to launch these two products into the chain salon market," says Rob Aubin, VP of Global Sales for Shortcuts Software. "These products have been thoroughly tested both in the USA and overseas and we are confident that the members of ICSA will soon forget what it’s like not having these Shortcuts reporting tools."

Cory Anderson from Chatters, a new Shortcuts customer, was the winner at the conclusion of the Texas Hold’em competition and the crowd broke to go back to the other tables and the custom made cocktail menu provided by Shortcuts.

The money for admission into the tournament and from the raffles was donated to the ICSA Government Affairs to help lobby for important issues within the industry.
