New York Gets a Taste of the Shortcuts Flavor That Spices Up Salons Across the Globe. New York, NY - April 17th - 19th - Shortcuts was in New York City, meeting top stylists and industry experts at the International Beauty Show. Over the show’s three days Shortcuts had a record number of contacts with established salon owners as well as up-and-coming prospects. The show had over 50,000 in attendance and showcased a wide range of exhibitors from manufacturers to retail, from hair products to skin care. There were four huge exhibit halls filled with the nation's leading beauty manufacturers showcasing products for hair, skin, nails and make-up. The winner on April 17th was David Cordero who won a $100 gift certificate to Babbo Ristorante, on April 18th Lily Ortiz won a gift certificate to Starbucks, and Danica Winters was given a pair of Wella Shears at the close of the show on the 19th.
