Shortcuts Formally Announced Two-Way SMS Texting Service

July 5th, 2006 – Long Beach, CA – Shortcuts Software formally announces their new two way texting service to be released to their clients nation wide.

“We have been doing this type of service all over the world for many years now,” says Rob Aubin, VP of Global Sales. “But each country is different and we wanted to make sure we release the best, the most effective, and the most efficient product on the market. And here it is.”

The SMS service works two ways and is completely integrated into the appointment book and confirmation manager. The system sends out SMS texts to clients to confirm their appointment and the client confirms by simply replying to the SMS text message. The Shortcuts system then updates the appointment book and confirmation manager automatically to reflect the status of the appointment.

“Everything in our system is about user-friendliness and this is one thing that not only saves the salon owner time, it is proven to save valuable money as well,” Aubin said.

Not only does this service work with the appointment book and the confirmation manager, but it is a valuable marketing tool as well. Send birthday messages, promotional offers, discounts, events, and the like to your clients and discover the most cost-effective way to get the word out.
