Extended Commissions

The Extended Commissions Module is an advanced add-on software application designed to expand on the existing commission system within Shortcuts software. Flexible and more comprehensive commission structures can now be configured in the Extended Commissions application to suit your individual business needs.

The major features of the Extended Commissions module include the ability to specify:

up to three different types of commission bands (ie. service, retail, sundry/chemical services/referral/client count) in the same schedule
whether commission is calculated inclusive or exclusive of tax
a variable date range selection for commission periods
whether commissions are cumulative or fixed target based
variable service commission rates for categories or services
a set value (cost per service) to be deducted before commission is calculated
split commission rates between stylist and receptionist for retail sales
a fallback wage if commissions are not achieved
commissions based on client counts or request client counts
up to five different variable commission rates for different product companies or lines
commission on referral services (i.e. a stylist referring color work)
whether wage rates are calculated using either logged hours or rostered hours
removal of tips before commission is calculated.

Once you have setup your commission details you can view employee commission results using the Extended Commissions Report which are accessed through the usual Shortcuts reports screen. You also have the ability to drill down further into individual employee information to see more detail.
