Tricks of the Trade
Q.
How do I make sure we capture the appropriate information when entering new clients into Shortcuts?
A.
Huon Siebert
Helpdesk Technician

You can tell Shortcuts what information you want it to capture when entering a new client and even make it mandatory for the team to enter this information before they continue on.

To check what fields your system is currently capturing, go to:

  1. Setup > Configuration > General Setup over on the left hand side of the screen
  2. Select "Clients."
  3. From here, click on the new client layout and you will see which fields in Shortcuts are required to be entered.
  4. When adding a new client, you can select others by selecting the appropriate box.
