Shortcuts Attends Tradeshows in the Big Apple and Windy City

From left to right: Emily Kay (Business Consultant), Gabe Ormando (East Coast Sales Manager), Eric Perera (Business Development Consultant), Christine Abela (Sales/Events Coordinator), and Meghan Ryan (Marketing Coordinator).

Shortcuts attended both the International Beauty Show (IBS) at the Jacob Javits Convention Center in New York and America’s Beauty Show (ABS) at the McCormick Place West Convention Center in Chicago last month.

Shortcuts exhibited at both shows for their fifth consecutive year. Salon owners and managers were stopping by the Shortcuts booth at each event to find out more about Shortcuts products and services as well as get a free demonstration. Each show was a three day event and had high attendance.

Tricks of the Trade
Q.
How do I use the appointment book filter?
A.
Erica Ruedas
Helpdesk Supervisor

A: The appointment book filter is located on the bottom left corner of the appointment book.

It is the grayed-out icon with the magnifying glass on it.

  • Clicking on it will bring up the filter options: Scheduled On, Logged On, Capabilities, Levels, Search, and Review.
  • Scheduled On and Logged On will be the most useful, especially if you have more employees that can be displayed on the screen.
  • The Capabilities option will bring up another menu with all your employee capabilities. The Levels options will bring up all the levels.
  • Using Search will allow you to search for a particular employee, and Review will bring up any employee with appointments made using BookME that still need review.
  • You can cancel the filter at any time by un-checking the box, or by clicking Suspend at the top of the menu. Suspend will save your filter so you can Resume it any time you like.
