Posted on 19th May 2016 by Angel Gonzales

Microsoft has recently started automatically upgrading clients to Windows 10.

This could have some serious implications for your Shortcuts Software system, so please read these FAQs and follow the instructions provided to ensure your Shortcuts system continues to function as usual.

Why is Windows upgrading people automatically?

Microsoft recently announced that in order to receive your free upgrade to Windows 10, you need to upgrade by Tuesday 29th July 2016. To speed up the process, they have started upgrading people automatically to Windows 10.

How do I know if I'm going to get upgraded?

If you're using Windows 7 or 8.1, you are likely to be automatically upgraded to Windows 10.

You might notice a popup like this one, which could appear on your screen, prompting you to upgrade.
