What is it?
Spotlight™ is a comprehensive client feedback management system designed to open up communication channels between you and your clients and assist you in maximizing your online ratings.
Through prompting your clients to review their experiences immediately following their appointments, Spotlight™ gives you access to instant client feedback and a framework to respond in a timely manner.
How does it work?
Spotlight™ sends an automated email (or email & SMS) to clients after their transaction is processed through Shortcuts point of sale. Clients are asked to rate their experience by completing a five- question survey to rate your salon on:
- Quality of Service
- Value for Money
- Tell your Friends
Your clients also have the opportunity to write a general review comment or request to be contacted by you.
Can I add my own review questions?
No. Spotlight™ is aligned with the proven Net Promoter scoring system and also mylocalsalon ranking for maximum effectiveness.
Can I select which clients receive the review request emails?
No, but you can specify the frequency of the review request emails. There are options to send requests:
- Every visit
- Once a month
- Once in 3 months
Clients will only receive a review request email if they have visited your business in that period. It is not possible to select individual clients to receive or not receive the emails.
My reviews are great, can I link them to my website?
Yes! In your Spotlight™ you will find the website plug-in code to make this easy for your web designer to do this, also making updates automatic. You can even control:
- The number of reviews that are visible at one time
- The time between scrolling through reviews
- Exactly which reviews publish on your website
You can also select reviews that you would like to share on your business Facebook page!
Can I see how the business is tracking overall?
Yes! Spotlight™ includes graphs for each review question and also an overall total, so you can log in at anytime and see exactly what’s happening in your business and how happy your clients are.
