Problem:
You have two computers, two Receipt Printers but only one Cash Drawer and would like to share the Cash Drawer between both computers.

Solution:
Step 1
Purchase the following items from Dick Smith or another similar Electronics store:

1. One Cash Drawer with an RJ12 telephone cable
2. One All Female double adapter
3. Two RJ12 telephone cables which will run from the double adapter into each Receipt Printer

Note: The two Receipt Printers plug into the one Cash Drawer simply using the RJ12 all female double adapter

Step 2
Configure the Receipt Printer and Cash Drawer as normal thru the Workshop screen; this needs to be done on both computers.

Note: It would be wise to consult your Hardware Technician before purchasing new equipment, in case your network setup is different to the above.
