Problem:
Does Shortcuts have the capability to issue a unique receipt number for each receipt?

Solution:
Yes… in 2002 and 2003. It currently prints a unique number on all receipts. It is based on the current date and the transactions number. For example YYMMDD-TT (TT is the transaction number on that day).
