Problem:
Some clients have reported that the Com Port settings for their hardware disappear either intermittently or upon start up of a morning.

Solution:
We have found that this problem seems to only occur for some clients running Window ME. We have suggested that the Operating System is changed from ME to Windows 2000 or XP.
