Problem:
Starting either Shortcuts, Shortcuts License Server or ShortCuts Workshop the following error is displayed:
Network Initialisation Failure - Inventory Error
The problem is caused by corrupt BDE .net and .lck files. To resolve this problem perform the following:
Solution:
1. Exit Shortcuts (on all computers if in a network situation)
2. Ensure ShortCuts Workshop is not running
3. Close the License Server (right click on key and select Exit)
4. Search and delete all *.lck and *.net files on the PC, by following the steps below:• Hit the Windows Start Button (or Ctrl Esc)
• Select Search, select Files or Folders
• In the Search for text box type *.net then hit Find Now
• It will come up with all the .net files eg; Pdoxusrs.net, highlight this file and hit Delete on the keyboard.
• If it comes up cannot delete, you must restart your computer and try again.
• Once the Pdoxusrs.net have been deleted, search and delete any *.lck files.
• Restart the PC and restart Shortcuts |
