Article#: KB2473 Article Date: 30/06/04 Version: N/A
Problem: The Shortcuts application opens up fine on the Server computer, but when trying to open up Shortcuts on the Client computer an error occurs:
"System Settings Table" 10024, does not exist"
Solution: Firstly you need to check the Net Dir on all computers on the network see article on “Setting Up A Network”.
Secondly you need to check the data directory in the registry on all computers.
1. Hit the windows Start button (or hold down Ctrl and then press Esc) 2. Select Run 3. In the path type Regedit and hit OK 4. Select HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE 5. Select Software 6. Select Shortcuts 7. Select Directories 8. Select Data 9. On the right hand side of the screen you will see the entry for Tables
On the Server computer it should be set to C:\Shortcuts\Tables, on the client computers it will be something alone the lines of: \\Server\C:\Shortcuts\Tables.
