Problem: A Receipt Printer connected to Com 2, can be configured successful thru the workshop screen but will not work in Shortcuts.
Solution 1: This problem can occur with Custom Receipt Printers that are connected to Com 2. By resetting the Electronic Scales fixes the problem. This issue has been addressed in Shortcuts 2002 5.03.
Follow these instructions to reset the Electronic Scales settings:
Exit Shortcuts Hit the Windows Start button (or hold down Ctrl and then press Esc on your keyboard) Select Workshop Select Hardware Select the Electronic Scales tab.
Option 1: If there is a Type already selected, Change Type to None and hit OK to exit the Hardware wizard, then select Done to exit Workshop.
Option 2: If the Type is set to None, Select a Type from the drop down box and then hit OK to exit the Hardware wizard. Reselect Hardware, select Electronic Scales, Change the Type to None and Hit OK to exit the Hardware Wizard.
Now try printing the Receipt again through Shortcuts.
