Problem\Question:
Error message when trying to uninstall Shortcuts:

"Error 1321 the installation has insufficient privileges to modify the file C:\shortcuts\activity.log - OK"
Preparing installation screen appears and then an " Error Code 5".

Solution:
1. Ensure the C:\ drive is fully shared

2. Need to be logged on as administrator

3. If the above does not work try: My Computer, then right-click on Local Disk (C:) Drive and left-click on "Sharing and Security...". From there go to the Security tab and select the logged on user from the list (in this case Administrator) and then left-click "Advanced" button.

Under the Permissions tab select the user again from the list (in this case Administrators) and then left-click the bottom tick-box option which says "Replace permission entries on all child objects with entries shown here that apply to child objects".

This will change all permissions from the root folder (in this case the C: Drive) and all its sub-folders and files to equal the permission given to it (in the case of Administrator it would be Full Control).
